Missing Parts & Accessories, Terrible Customer Service

I ordered this appliance from Home Depot in May. Arrived in tact and not damaged. Stored it in original box until our project was ready for it. Opened it only to discover that ALL the hardware, instructions, and additional parts were not included. Called Frigidaire customer service, was told I needed to call Home Depot and rudely and abruptly hung up on by Marcus. Started a chat with Home Depot, while also calling customer service back. Second agent, Dak, was ready to look up a part number to give me a price, I politely told him I wasn't paying for something that was never sent in the first place, asked that he please not hang up on me, and he gave me a number to Frigidaire Parts. In the meantime, Home Depot tells me that for missing parts, I need to contact the manufacturer, and gives me the same phone number I had already called twice. I called the parts number the second agent gave me, only to be told, she only sells parts and can't send me anything for free. I have been at this for 3 hours now, and am only going in circles getting more frustrated by the minute. I have registered my product in hopes of getting help there, because when I try to even look up the parts on their website for that model number, it returns 0 parts. This has been the worst customer service and one of the most frustrating situations I've dealt with. If you value your sanity, steer clear of this line of products.

Not only is this stunningly gorgeous, it™€™s easy to see the icons! This is why we chose it over all the others. We read the instructions before using and have had clear sailing ever since. Our friends are impressed! It™€™s even beautiful on the inside due to the design on the rear wall. It™€™s more powerful than our old one so we use less time. This was quite an upgrade and well worth it. I recommend this one to anyone wanting a gorgeous and highly functional microwave. My husband installed it , only needing help to lift it into position. Luckily our adult son was with us. You won™€™t regret buying one.

So we have had this microwave for about 3 weeks now, and couldn™€™t be happier with the product for the exceptionally reasonable price we spent at The Home Depot. This product is super user friendly and easy to use. The touch screen buttons on the front glass (which are aesthetically pleasing) are responsive and easily allow for the use of knuckles if you happen to have grease or other cooking liquids on your fingertips. On top of all of the features included in the microwave, the LED stove light is brilliant and general use of the microwave is exceptionally quiet. Overall, great product and value! Great job Frigidaire!

We were replacing a Kenmore Elite microwave. Since Kenmores are not readily available anymore, we knew we would have to purchase another brand, and to make sure we did not have a mismatched handle with the other Kenmore appliances in the kitchen, we decided to buy one without a handle. The reviews on this Frigidaire model were outstanding, and we are very glad we bought this model. It looks great, is whisper quiet and has excellent and easy to use operations.

The GMOS1964AF Gallery over the range microwave has easy to follow installation instructions. It's exhaust can be configurated to use an external vent or used with its default configuration for front exhaust into the kitchen area. The lower portion of the door exterior contains the comprehensive finger-tip LED control panel. Setting cook times, cooking power and timer settings is easy. The 30" wide door takes some getting use to. Our old 30" microwave had the typical 20" door with the control panel on the right 10" of the front. This allowed standing in front of the microwave when opening the door without having to either stand to the side or stepping back from the microwave. With the 30" door you need to either stand to the right of the microwave or to step back from the microwave as you open the door. A recessed area on the bottom right side of the door makes for an easy grip area to pull the door open. With the door open, instruction for cooking various food items is listed on the right panel while on the left side is the 1.9 cu. ft. oven. Though not silent, the noise level when cooking is noticeably much quieter than our older model. A bright white LED bulb illuminates the interior of the oven when the door is open. Two bright white LED bulbs illuminate the stove top when turned on from the LED panel on the front of the door. Two light intensities are available with multiple finger taps on the light bulb icon. Replaceable charcoal filters are located on the bottom of the microwave to remove cooking odors from the stove beneath. Multiple finger taps on the fan icon on the LED panel will turn on, vary the speed and turn off the exhaust fan. Two nice additions to the LED panel icons is a +10 Sec and a +30 Sec icon for one touch cooking if more time is needed. The only thing missing is WiFi ability to notify when cooking is complete. Something I hope Frigidaire considers in future models. The Frigidaire Gallery microwave makes a fine addition to our kitchen.

Mixed feelings

While I only had the microwave for a few days, I like the microwave and how it works, however, I am not sold on the installation process, the bracket that goes on the wall is flimsy, the lag bolts are junk, I broke two of them trying to fasten them. Being a carpenter, I was able to figure out an alternative but I don't believe a normal person could figure out the process. I installed many microwaves in my lifetime and this was by far the worst process and parts.
