Bad O-ring design

Under a sunny day at the outside, I did all piping and a as a last step, I put the filter and tighten the filter housing. When I turned on the valve, water leaks from the filter house. Because of bad desine of O-ring fitting. There is not a grove which will keep the O-ring in place properly. Because of this while tightening the filter house, it slips and cuts the O-ring.
Now, I am searching replacement O-ring. Even in this page, there is not any part list of O-ring, they don't sell it, Home Depot don't sell it... I found one in Amazon, but I have to wait 3days to receive. What if I don't have any other water sources??

I am always looking for way to purify our families drinking water and when I got a chance to try the GE water filtration system I didn't hesitate. Although I haven't had to change the filter as of yet, the filter is easy to install and I have noticed a more purified change in the taste of our water.

My husband installed the water filter it was not very hard to do. We had been reading a bunch of stuff online and saw that water can have harmful things in it. We wanted to try a water filter then do a water sample to see the difference.

We had a whole filtration from GE already on the line, but realized we needed a much larger size. We removed the smaller set up and installed this. We have a well and our house is four bedrooms/2.5 bathrooms. Thus far, this is working much better, it doesn™™t clog as much or as quickly.

We have really enjoyed this product since we got it installed. The family has noticed a big difference in the water throughout our house. It was easy for us to install as we already had the additional diverter in our water system, but you may need professional help if not.

We tried the GE whole house in line water filtration system when we put in a new water softener recently. We initially got a smaller filter system but ended up changing our minds and going with this large whole house filter from GE. The brand has been around a while and is trusted. The filter lasts about 3 months and catches particles and sediments in the water. The filter was easy to install and easy to change out filters. We would recommend this filter system to anyone!

We have an older house with well water. Since moving in years ago, we have dealt with sand and debris getting stuck in the water lines and piping, mostly near our kitchen sink and washer and dryer room. After having a plumber out recently to fix a low flowing line to the washer, he recommended we install a Whole House High Flow Water Filtration System to help filter out all this debris we have due to the well water. He said it was much cheaper than other water filtration systems or needing to redo plumbing throughout our house. And, it was easy to install and wouldn't take a long time. Note: If you haven't had a filtration system in place before, you may have to make some plumbing adaptations to make the Whole House High Flow Water Filtration System work properly.
We picked up the Whole House High Flow Water Filtration System and had our plumber put it in. It has been 3 week now since we installed our Whole House High Flow Water Filtration System and boy has this made a world of difference. We no longer have poor water pressure throughout the house, the rotten egg smell we used to get when running the washing machine is gone, and no more clogs. I am so glad we listened to the plumber's recommendations and installed the Whole House High Flow Water Filtration System.
If you have dealt with debris in your water lines or rotten egg smell when running your faucets or washing machine, I highly recommend you consider a Whole House High Flow Water Filtration System. It will not break the bank, and will save you $$$ in the long run as you will not have a plumber on redial needing to come out and check why your water isn't flowing properly or full of debris clogging lines.
I also like how the filter lasts 3 months and protects your whole house by reducing sediment. Now you can enjoy filtered water throughout your whole house.

My husband and I installed the GE Whole House High Flow Water Filtration System. It was relatively easy as the directions are very clear. You just change the filter every three months for protection against sediment, sand and rust. Whole house protection for peace of mind. I highly recommend and trust GE.

This is a very substantial filter for the price. Larger than I expected. It took some navigating and relocating pipes in the basement to get this to fit beneath my kitchen sink and was able to tie into both bath sinks. The plumbing parts cost as much as the filter as I put in a byoass before each shut off valve. Luckily I am handy and could do this myself. My town water is very good so I don't know that I see much improvement. Bit it gives me peace of mind. Heavy duty mounting bracket included but I used pipe hangers ti support. Will make changing filter easier.

I got this filtration system from GE with a main goal in mind and that is to drink and use clean, filtrated water with peace of mind. The installation was fairly straightforward and easy. This water filtration system removes all impurities and sediments from the water. Great system that I would recommend.

I had the Whole House Filtration System High Flow Replacement Water Filter GXWH60T whole house filtration system installed to filter out sediment etc. from my water so I can have filtered tap water. This is the first water filtration system I've had. My plumber installed it fairly quickly and it seems to be working well.

The quality of water in our home hasn't been the best because it is so hard. Having hard water does make a vast difference over having soft water. I installed this GE Whole House High Flow Water Filtration System along with help from my brother-in-law. We had it installed in no time and now my family and I enjoy higher quality water in our home and feel safe now drinking the water without the awful additives that were in it prior to having this.

I upgraded my whole house water filter to this larger size and I really love it. The filter lasts a lot longer and the water pressure is alot better than what I had . My old filter was about 1 1/2 inches by 12 inches and the new one is at least double that size. And it was so easy to install the bracket mounts directly to the wall then the filter holder mounted directly to the bracket . So easy as a 67 year old disabled man I could easily install it myself . It also includes a plastic wrench to easily change the cartridge.

GE whole house water filtration system is a great additional to our home.The systems helps reduce sediment and impurities in our plumbing. The idea of having fresh filtered water for our whole house is amazing. The change of type of water we shower with has been a such a change for our skin.

This filtration system does its job. The water seems to be much cleaner. The impurities are removed. The sinks, tubs and toilets are easier to clean since we installed the whole house filtration system. It was easy to install. Water flow is just as good as it was before. Overall performance of the system has been very good. Definitely pleased with the system.

We used to buy bottled water and we went through a lot of it because we did not like to drink sink water in this home. Well this came we installed it and now we will not have to buy bottled water again. The taste of this water is so crisp so much better Than the water offered by our city I would highly recommend anybody to buy this.

I just got this set up a couple days and it™™s been such a nice change to have. My house had hard water and this just filters that out. The installation will vary based on your house and I needed a plumber. Even with the trouble of having a plumber install this, it™™s definitely recommended.

We're at the end of the line for city water and it started tasting like dirt, added the GE whole home filter and it completely removed all the sediments. We're using the basic filter and the water tastes great. This feeds our GE water softener and now showering doesn't leave any residue behind. We also have a RO filter under the sink and our water tastes better than bottled.

The mounting hardware, filter housing, and instructions don't match up. The only help you can get says, "reach out on social media" with NO MORE THAN THAT! How? What platform? To whom? My only recourse is to leave bad reviews on "social media" and return the product for another brand. I can't give any good ratings since I have not been able to put it in to service.
